During your visit, you can expect to have your skin assessed by a qualified aesthetician who will be able to identify any problems and recommend treatments tailored specifically for your individual needs. After the assessment, you will likely receive facial treatments that include cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration as well as various types of facial masks and serums. Depending on your skin type, you may also have treatments such as steam therapy or extractions to clear debris from pores.
Most skin spas recommend that you bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and avoid wearing makeup or lotions so that the aesthetician can better assess your skin. It is also important to keep in mind that some treatments may require undressing, so it is best to bring clothes that are comfortable and easy to remove. Additionally, you may want to bring a headband or scarf to keep your hair away from your face during the treatments.
The frequency of visits will depend on your individual needs and desired results. Generally, it is recommended that you get regular skin assessments so that your aesthetician can identify any problems or changes and provide tailored advice for achieving healthy glowing skin. Depending on the type of treatments chosen, you may need to return for follow-up sessions every 4-6 weeks in order to maintain results. However, if you are just looking for relaxation, then one session every few months may be sufficient. Your aesthetician will be able to provide you with more specific recommendations.
Yes, treatments are generally very safe when performed by a qualified and experienced aesthetician. The aesthetician will take a detailed medical history to identify any contraindications to certain treatments or products, as well as make sure that you are comfortable throughout the entire process. Additionally, they will follow all safety guidelines and protocols for ensuring your health and comfort. If at any time during the visit you feel uncomfortable or have questions about the treatment being administered, do not hesitate to ask your aesthetician for clarification.
